The SKA Open Day 2016 will be on Sunday, 26th June, running from noon until 5pm. The course is suitable for beginners through to black belts. Students will be taught in small groups according to grade. This is your chance to train with the Association's senior instructors. Don't miss this course, it promises to be a fantastic day!

ALL BLACK AND BROWN BELTS ARE EXPECTED TO ATTEND

Open Day 2015
SESSION 1: 12 noon - 1.30pm KUMITE
Students will have the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of kumite and learn new techniques taught in small groups according to grade.
SESSION 2: 2pm - 3.30pm KUMITE
The object of this session is for students to learn the next kata in their syllabus. The emphasis will be on learning the moves and applications of katas.
SESSION 3: 3.45pm - 5pm PRESENTATIONS AND DEMONSTRATIONS
Demonstrations, to include Junior team kata, Adult team kata, advanced kumite, individual kata, multiple self defence, knife self defence, ladies' self defence, kata with applications, demonstrations of martial arts weapons. This will be followed by presentation of Dan grade certificates.
